A man has been charged with the murder of Dontae McLaren in Lambeth.
Dynzell Patrick, 26, appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court this morning (Thursday, 3 October), where he was remanded in custody to next appear at the Old Bailey on Monday, 7 October.
Officers arrested Patrick on Tuesday, 1 October.
Police were called at around 4:05 a.m. on Sunday, 29 September, to reports of a large group fighting with knives in Wandsworth Road, SW8.
Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended.
Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, 24-year-old Dontae McLaren was pronounced dead at the scene.
