NOPD Arrests Andrea Davillier II for Recklessly Driving Her Vehicle Through Group of High School Band Practising Outside

The NOPD has arrested a woman and charged her with aggravated assault for allegedly driving her vehicle into a group of high school band members.

On January 8, 2025, at about 5:17 p.m., Fifth District officers were called to the intersection of Law and Pauger Streets for a reckless driver who was driving through units of a local marching band as they were practising in the street.

Through investigation, officers determined the driver was intentionally driving through the band members and made threats to three of the adult band leaders, who had repeatedly told the driver to stop.

No one was injured.

The motive for this incident is under investigation.

Arrested was Andrea Davillier II.

She is charged with aggravated assault and has been booked in the Orleans Justice Center accordingly.

Anyone with additional information on this incident is asked to contact Fifth District detectives at (504) 658-6050 or Crimestoppers anonymously at (504) 822-1111.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
