The NOPD is asking for the public’s help in locating two children missing or who possibly ran away in the Eighth District.
Brazil McDowell (pictured left) is six years old.
Her brother, (pictured right) Gino McDowell, is 13 years old.
They were last seen in the 1400 Block of Poydras Street around 6:00 p.m. on February 12, 2025.
At the time, the Department of Children and Family Services were attempting to provide housing for them.
It’s believed they ran away while DCFS was attempting to make arrangements for their care.
