Sara L. Jackson, age 48, of Keyser, West Virginia, has admitted to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute fentanyl and methamphetamine hydrochloride.
According to court documents, Jackson was working with another defendant to sell large amounts of fentanyl, some pressed into pills, as well as methamphetamine in Mineral County.
A search warrant executed at a Jackson’s apartment resulted in the seizure of 1300 grams of fentanyl and 788 grams of methamphetamine.
Jackson is facing up to 20 years in federal prison. A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Lara Omps-Botteicher is prosecuting the case on behalf of the government.
