U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested Kelvin Emanuel Granados-Sorto, 30, an illegal alien and Honduran citizen, on April 11 after he was transferred to ICE custody by the Maryland Department of Corrections.
Granados has been convicted of a third-degree sex offence.
Granados entered the United States on an unknown date at an unknown location and without inspection, admission, or parole by an immigration official.
The Circuit Court for Prince George’s County convicted Granados on May 12, 2023, of a sex offence and sentenced him to 10 years in prison. ICE lodged an immigration detainer against Granados with the Maryland Department of Corrections on July 12, 2023.
A Department of Justice immigration judge ordered Granados removed from the United States to Honduras on October 24, 2023.
Granados remains in ICE custody pending his removal.
