Suspect Aaron Michael Toregano Wanted by First District for Theft of 16 Doors

New Orleans Police are asking for the public’s assistance with locating a suspect wanted for felony theft and illegal possession of stolen property.

Wanted is Aaron Michael Toregano (pictured), Black male.

According to investigators, around 9:30 a.m. on April 24, 2025, police were called to a residence in the 1500 block of North Broad Avenue for a reported theft.

The property owner advised the officer that the residence was a rental property that had last been occupied by Aaron Michael Toregano during March of 2025 and which was going to be renovated.

When the property owner arrived at the house on April 24, 2025, they discovered 16 doors were missing, such as bedroom, closet, and other interior doors.

Through investigation, it was discovered that Aaron Michael Toregano had removed the doors, also damaging the door frames, and attempted to sell them at multiple refinishing and antiques stores in New Orleans.

A warrant is on file for the arrest of Aaron Michael Toregano.
