Met Police Launch Appeal to Find Man, Aiden, After Leaving South West London Hospital

Police are appealing to the public to help locate a 34-year-old man who went on leave from a south west London hospital three days ago and has not returned.

Detective Constable Samuel Chell, leading this investigation, said, “We are increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of Aiden, who went on unescorted leave from Springfield University Hospital in Tooting, but failed to return. He was last seen by staff at the hospital at 14:23hrs on Tuesday, 22 April.

“We’re appealing the public to please look out for him and help us find him. He was wearing a black and brown hooded tracksuit with grey boots and may be wearing a distinctively patterned multi-coloured hat. He is 6ft 6ins, of slim build.

“We believe there was a sighting of Aiden yesterday in the Sutton and Cheam area, though he is known to spend time around the Southbank area.

“If you see Aiden do not to approach him, instead call police on 101 as soon as possible quoting the reference 7628/22Apr.”
