U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, as part of a joint federal law enforcement effort, arrested three illegal aliens who have or continue to pose a threat to public safety.

Jiewei Hu, 42, a citizen of China, was arrested on February 1 in Seattle, Washington, with convictions by the Superior Court of the State of Washington for drug manufacturing.

Jorge Maradiaga, 45, a citizen of El Salvador arrested on February 8 in Seattle, was previously arrested for commercial sex abuse of a minor.

Shakhrukn Atakhojayev, 33, a citizen of Kazakhstan, was arrested on February 8 in Seattle, Washington, unlawfully present in the U.S. and considered to be a threat to public safety.

All three individuals will remain in ICE custody pending removal proceedings.

“Ensuring public safety is always of the utmost importance,” said ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Seattle Field Office Director Drew H. Bostock. “And the enforcement actions highlighted here show that commitment.”
