The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating two young girls reported to be missing.
The reporting person told police that Jasmine Jones, 14 (pictured at left, black female) and Nola Jones, 11 (pictured at right, black female) were last seen departing from home between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., indicating they would be taking a bus to their school.
However, school personnel contacted the reporting person at about 9:30 a.m. to notify them that the children had not attended classes.
At the time of their departure, both Jasmine and Nola Jones were wearing green shirts, khaki pants and white shoes.
